Mrs. Cecelia Fortin

1857 – June 23, 1928

Mrs. Cecelia Fortin, age 77, of 1122 East Calvert Street, died Saturday night in t home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Dewey, of Lakeside MI, after an illness of five weeks.

She was born in Montreal Canada.  Her husband died eighteen years ago.  Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Dewey, is another daughter, Mrs. Rose Tatro, of Sawyer MI; five sons, William Fortin of Chicago, and Charles, Louis, James and Joseph Fortin, of South Bend.  Two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Tatro, of Sawyer, and Mrs. Virginia Habel, of Three Oaks MI, and three brothers, Felix Frank and Sovereign Varsaw, of Dowagiac MI, also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock in Three Oaks and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, this city.
