Mary J. Forte

December 31, 1914 – September 3, 2001

Mary J. Forte, 86, of Wakarusa, formerly of Osborne Road, Bremen IN, passed away in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.

Mary was born on December 31, 1914, in Tobey IL, as the daughter of the late Frank & Anna (Georgi) Ballatore.  Mary was also preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Glasso and Catherine Rottensteiner; and one brother, John J. Ballatore.

On April 7, 1934, in South Bend, Mary married Angelo M. Forte who preceded her in death.  Now they are together again.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Celie (Tony) Blasko of Granger; a son Dennis (Virginia) Forte of Bremen; two sisters, Mami Maddarass of Three Rivers MI and Rose Finn of Mishawaka.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jill Breney of Mishawaka, Colonel Jack Celie of Las Vegas NV; Jeff Celie of Mishawaka, Dennis Forte, Jr. of Wakarusa, Mark Forte of Bremen and Debbie Harvey of Milford IN; and eight great grandchildren.

Mary was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
