Sister Mary Clarellen CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross died Monday noon in Saint Mary’s Convent, after a long illness. She was born Myra Forsman in 1891 in Chicago. She received the habit of the congregation and made her first profession of vows in 1914. During her community life, she taught here in St. Joseph and Holy Cross Schools. She retired in 1961.

A requiem high mass will be offered in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on the St. Mary’s College Campus at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
