Harvey Ford, 58,
of 52941 Hastings died at 9:15am today in Memorial Hospital after
a long illness. A service attendant for the Colonial Oil
Co., he was born February 9, 1917, in Denver CO and ha lived most
of his life in the South Bend area. On August 21, 1948, in South
Bend, he married Helen Strzelski, who survives.
Also surviving
are two stepsons, Daniel and Zane Pietraszewski, both of South
Bend; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Helen Ford of South Bend; 13
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, George
of South Bend, Melvin of Portland IN; and Oscar of Sturgis, and
four sisters, Mrs. Lou Rena Henderson of South Bend, Mrs. Joyce
Cole of Osceola, Mrs. Frona Garlinger of Bryant and Mrs Helen
Holloway of Dunkirk.
