Rosalind Dew

 April 21, 1912 - July 5, 2010
GRANGER - Dew, Rosalind faithful wife of husband Arthur, and loving mother of four children, Grace, Daniel, Phoebe and Paul. She passed away on July 5th, 2010, from a chronic lung condition and went to spend eternity with her Lord and God, peacefully and fully satisfied with life. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, three children, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was born in Hong Kong in 1912, and was married in 1936 to Arthur Dew. She and Arthur immigrated to Elkhart, IN, in 1973 and later lived in Sugarland, TX, Nashville, TN, Malvern, PA, and finally returned to Granger, IN. Rosalind was a devout Christian whose main interests were reading Christian books and spending much time praying for her family and friends. She took great interest in their lives and was even more concerned about their well-being, frequently more than she ought to be. She cared deeply for the salvation of others, and seized every opportunity to share her faith with them. She witnessed without reservation, and especially to new friends of hers. A member of the Michiana Chinese Christian Church while living in Indiana, Rosalind was an active contributor to its mission and vision. She was known to everyone as "Grandma," being the oldest of them all. Rosalind was a frugal person, but very generous to others. She will be greatly missed. Her memorial service is scheduled for July 10th, 2010, at Michiana Chinese Christian Church, located at 11805 Loughlin Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545, 574-256-9422. The service will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Michiana Chinese Christian Church Memorial Fund. To send condolences to the family, log on to www.McGannHay.com.
