Berneice DeVreese, 90, of Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, passed away at 4:23 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Born June 30, 1912, in South Bend to Warren and Cora (Rinehart) Coe. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister and brothers.
On April 1, 1945, in South Bend she married Alfons DeVreese who survives along with a daughter, Linda Beerhorst (Norman) of Osceola, Ind.; grandchildren, Jodie Sults (Aaron) of Carmel, Ind., Jason Lopez of Granger, Ind., Joshua Lopez of Muncie, Ind.; great-grandchildren, Merritt & Ryder Sults.
Mrs. DeVreese worked in South Bend at the former Goldblatts Department Store, she enjoyed reading, roller coasters, garage sales and loved potato chips her favorite treat. She will be missed by many.
Private burial will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice in Mrs. DeVreese's name.
The Welsheimer Funeral Home assisted the
