MISHAWAKA - Martha (Rutkowski) De Raeve, 97, of South Spring Street, died of natural causes Saturday in the Comstock Nursing Home, Milwaukee. Survivors include two daughters, Eldean ''Blondie'' Demuelenaere of Milwaukee and Margaret Bock of Naples, Fla.; and two sons, Robert H. Rutkowski of Osceola and Irvin E. of Mishawaka. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Hahn Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m.

Martha De Raeve

Aug. 11, 1901 - Dec. 5, 1998

MISHAWAKA - Martha (Rutkowski) De Raeve, 97, of S. Spring Street, passed away after an illness on Saturday, Dec. 5, in the Comstock Nursing Home, Milwaukee, Wis.

Mrs. De Raeve was born on Aug. 11, 1901, in South Bend, Ind., as the daughter of the late Ignatious and Katherine Andrezewski. On July 13, 1935, in Mishawaka, Ind., as Martha Rutkowski, she married George ''Chink'' DeRaeve, who preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two daughters-in-law, Genevieve and Joy Rutkowski.

Mrs. De Raeve is survived by two daughters, Eldean ''Blondie'' (Gus) DeMuelenaere of Milwaukee and Margaret Bock of Naples, Fla.; two sons, Robert H. Rutkowski of Osceola, Ind., and Irvin E. Rutkowski of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Barbara Jean Balcerowski of Cudahy, Wis., Dan DeMuelenaere of Milwaukee, Greg Rutkowski of Mishawaka, Jackie Bevakovich of Mishawaka, Terri Sipple of LaPaz, Ind., and Mark Bock of Naples, Fla.; 12 great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Burt Andrezewski of New Carlisle, Ind.

Mrs. De Raeve was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Robert Yast officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
