NEW CARLISLE - Services for James L. DePoy, 54, of Chicago Trail, who died at 4:45 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and until services Thursday in the funeral home.
Mr. DePoy was a farmer and New Prairie school bus driver. He was born June 19, 1941, in LaPorte and lived in the New Carlisle area for 11 years. On June 8, 1963, in Merrillville, Ind., he married Cynthia Jill Worley. She survives with two daughters, Christine Kay Daley of South Bend and Barbara Lynn Bush of Mill Creek; three granddaughters; and a sister, Deborah Arlene DePoy of Mill Creek. Mr. DePoy was past president of Portage, Mich., Jaycees.
