Brother Mauriltus DeGan CSC

Brother Mauriltus CSC, 69, formerly William DeGan, of the University of Notre Dame, were conducted Friday morning in Sacred Heart Church, on the campus, with burial in Community Cemetery, also on the campus.

 

He was born Feb. 11, 1878 in Chicago, and joined the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1896. Since 1944 he was the guest master of Corby Hall at Notre Dame. Before that he was rector of Carroll and Brownson halls at Notre Dame, for 35 or 40 years. Prior to that he ran the old candy store on the campus.
