SOUTH BEND - Marguerite Louise Deal, 91, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 7:40 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Marguerite was born on March 6, 1916, in South Bend, to Charles and Thelma (Skiles) Boston.

On January 23, 1933 in LaPorte, IN, as Marguerite L. Boston, she married William Harvey Deal, who preceded her in death on August 26, 1990. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Janice Deal; two sons, Ramon and Lawrence Deal; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Trepasso; one sister, Kathryn Auksolavich; and one brother, Charles "Chuck" Boston, Jr. Survivors include five daughters, Dolores (Carl) Bates of Niles, MI, Beverly (Kenneth) Delinski of South Bend, IN, Marilyn (Lloyd) Keldsen of New Carlisle, IN, Barbara Cesavice of South Bend, IN and Cheryl (Gary) Johnson of South Bend, IN; three sons, Robert (Carol) Deal and Thomas (Diane) Deal both of South Bend, IN and Richard (Mary) Deal; twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; eight great great -grandchildren; one brother, James Boston of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2007, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc.
