SOUTH BEND –
Frank J. Deak, 76, of Myrtle Road, died at 2:37pm Thursday in St
Joseph’s Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Mr. Deak
retired as the owner of Deak’s TV.
He was born May
13, 1919, in South Bend. On May 11, 1946, in South Bend, he
married Mary Kneff. She died September 14, 1991. He
is survived by four daughters, Connie Dobrzykowski and Debbie
Morgan, both of Granger, Mary Erskine of South bend and Sandra
Hughes of Mobile AL; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Shafer
of Gobles MI and Ann Kolczynski of Carlsbad CA; and a brother,
John of Edwardsburg.
He was a veteran
of WW II and a member of St Mary of the Assumption Catholic
Church
Services will be at 11am Monday in the church. Burial
will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends
may call from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday in St Joseph Funeral
Home, where a rosary will be said at 7pm. Memorial
contributions may be made to the church.
