Corinna Cerri

Mishawaka – Mrs. Carlo Cerri, aged 61, of 218 East Seventh Street, died at 5:15 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. She had been ill for the last month.

 

Mrs. Cerri was born March 9, 1887 in Picenza, Italy and came to Mishawaka from that country in 1907.

 

As Corinna Cabrini she married Carlo Cerri in Mishawaka the day after she arrived. He died July 21, 1946.

 

Surviving are one son, Raymond Cerri, Mishawaka, two brothers, Celeste Carbini, Mishawaka and Arthur Cabrini, Pomona, Calif., and a sister, Maria Branda, Italy.

 

Friends may call in the residence from Thursday noon until the funeral service s at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church. Rev. Curt Suetzer, paster will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rosary Society members will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the residence to recite the rosary.
