Mary Catanzarite, 82, of West LaSalle Avenue in Mishawaka, Ind., died at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Hospice House, Roseland, Ind., after an illness.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1914, in Plati, Regio Calabria, Italy, and lived most of her life in Mishawaka.

On July 19, 1930, in St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, as Mary Nunneri, she married Pasquale ''Patsy'' Catanzarite, who preceded her in death in 1981.

Mary was a member of St. Monica Church. She retired from UniRoyal, Inc., Mishawaka, in 1975 after 45 years of service.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Thoman of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Fotia of Mishawaka, and a brother, Joseph Nunneri of Canoga Park, Calif.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Elizabeth ''Betty'' Catanzarite in 1982; a son, Tony Catanzarite in 1976; and a stepbrother, Joseph Ferreri, in 1995.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka, with a wake service at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

The funeral mass will be at St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with the burial following in the Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
