Richard E. Cass,
44, of 701 W 6th St., Mishawaka, died at 5:55pm
Wednesday in St Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an apparent
heart attack. He was self-employed with the United Sales
& Associates.
Born June 17,
1929, in South Bend, he had moved to Mishawaka 15 months ago from
Kokomo. On September 4, 1970, he married Patricia A.
Schwartz, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs.
Virginia M. Cass of Kokomo; a son, Rick of South Bend; a stepson,
Gene Schwartz, at home; two daughters, Nancy Jo and Kathie, both
of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Carletta Schwartz of Sunnydale CA
and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Kaszynski of St
Petersburg FL.
Friends may call
form 7 to 9pm Thursday and 2 to 9pm Friday in the Kaniewski &
Sons funeral Home.
Services will be
in the funeral home at 11am Saturday. Rev. Matthew
Sienkiewicz, pastor of St Hedwig’s Catholic Church, will
officiate. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. He
was a member of the Indiana Manufacturing Housing Assn. A
wake service will be at 7pm today in the funeral home.
