MISHAWAKA - Mary L. Carroll, 87, of
Colony Court, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 5:27 a.m. on Sunday, Jan.
18, in the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South
Bend, Ind. Mary was born on April 3, 1910, in Hardin County,
Tenn., and had lived in this area most of her life.
She married James Carroll on Dec. 24, 1927,
in Tennessee. Mary is survived by her husband, James Carroll;
five daughters, Wanda Stryker of Mishawaka, Louise Conway
of Orlando, Fla., Paulette Kuzmanovich of Winston-Salem,
N.C., Thersia Young of Summerfield, Fla., and Sue Swihart,
also of Mishawaka; two sons, James Carroll of Mishawaka and Roy
Carroll, also of Mishawaka; and by 11 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the Twin City
Baptist Church for 45 years.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at
the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Tuesday at the Twin City Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Bell
officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Twin City
Baptist Church.
