Charles I. Carmack

Charles I. Carmack, 70, of Mishawaka, died after a brief
illness at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2007, in Saint Joseph
Regional Hospital in Mishawaka. He was born in Florence, AL, on
March 22, 1936, to Arthur M. and Lela (Hunt) Carmack.
Charles married Karen Fry in Niles, MI, on June 9, 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; a stepson, Fred (Shawn) Clark
of Mishawaka; a brother, William (Faye) Carmack of Florence; and
13 nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and will be
missed. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and by a
brother, Henry Carl Carmack.
Charles retired from A.M. General in 1994 following 30 years of
service. He loved to play euchre with his family and friends, and
spending time with his dogs, Buster and Brittany.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, January 25th, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m., with
Rev. Charles Husted officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens.
