Louisa Carini

Mishawaka – Mrs. Nicholas Carini, 316 South West Street, age 73, died suddenly Sunday night at 8 o’clock in Rye, N. Y. of acute indigestion. She left with her husband and a son, Frank, two weeks ago for a visit with children in New York. The body will arrive in Mishawaka Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Carini was born in Genoa, Italy, Aug. 25, 1860. She came here 15 years ago from Milltown, N.J. She was married 42 years ago in Italy to Mr. Carini who survived. Also she leaves the following children, Joseph of Milltown; Mrs. Lena Branderfine, Mrs. Mary Martin, Staten Island; Mrs Murchel Parmiller, New Brunswick, N.J.; William and Frank and Mrs Joseph Roth of Mishawaka. She leaves 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and four sisters in Italy.

 

Editor: Her maiden name was Louisa Speroni. She was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mishawaka.
