Carey, Sister Mary Pius CSC

Sister Mary Pius CSC, 70, of the St. Joseph Hospital staff, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the hospital of a heart attack. She had been ill two days. She was born Ellen G. Carey in Clyman, Wis., in 1879, and had been a member of the Holy Cross Order for 45 years. The late Rev. William Carey CSC, of the University of Notre Dame was her brother.

Friends may call in the parlor of St. Mary’s Convent today and until services at 6 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Internment will be in the Community Cemetery.
