SOUTH BEND - Linda L. Cannady, 48, of W. Ireland Road, died about 3:45 p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Cannady was co-owner of Michiana Arbor Supply and former owner of Cannady Tree Service. She was born Dec. 29, 1947, in South Bend.

On April 12, 1969, in South Bend, as Linda L. Rodgers, she married Wayne R. Cannady. He survives with a daughter, Christina Cannady of South Bend; a son, Tracey of South Bend; her mother, Frances Rodgers of South Bend; two sisters, Cindy Moore and Sandra Rodgers, both of South Bend; and a brother, Ronald of South Bend. She was a volunteer for American Heart Association and American Cancer Society, and a member of Ardmore LaSalle Church of Christ.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where prayer services will be at 7 p.m., and one hour before services on Sunday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Cannady Scholarship Fund in care of the church.
