Rhoda Campbell, 89, of Chester Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, in Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mishawaka, Ind. Mrs. Campbell was born on Sept. 19, 1911, in Williamsburg, Ky., as the daughter of the late Joel and Mary (Holt) Caddell.

In 1933, as the former Rhoda Caddell, she married Herbert Campbell. He preceded her in death in 1980. She is survived by three sons, Bernard "Bernie" Campbell of South Bend, Vern Campbell of Mishawaka and Hovie Campbell of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home, with Rev. Terry Wallace officiating. Private family burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Park, Corbin, Ky.
