MISHAWAKA - Marion Y. Campbell, 83,
of Superior, Wis., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 12:50 a.m.
Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, Minn. Mrs. Campbell was
born May 16, 1912, in Dresden, Germany, and lived in Mishawaka
until one month ago.
On Sept. 9, 1936, in Mishawaka, as Marion Young,
she married Douglas Campbell. He died Jan. 20, 1992. She is
survived by two daughters, Nancy Campbell Smith of Superior,
Wis., and Jean Zaharakos of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a
son, Douglas Jr. of Minneapolis; three grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy V. Young of
Elkhart. She was a member of Cathedral of St. James Episcopal,
South Bend, Literacy County, Beiger Heritage, and was leader for
Camp Fire Girls.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday
in the church. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
