GRANGER - Larry L. Campbell, 63, residing in Granger, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at home. Larry was employed with Manufacturing Technology, Inc., Mishawaka, for many years. He served as a paramedic and fireman from 1968 to the mid-70s for the South Bend Fire Department. Larry was born on February 24, 1946, in South Bend, IN, to Charles and Dorothy (Shetterly) Campbell, and remained a lifelong area resident. On March 26, 1977, in South Bend, IN, he married Sharon (Fogel) Campbell, who preceded him in death June 18, 2007. Larry is survived by his three sons, Scott (Mindy) Campbell of Osceola, SFC Ret. Jon (Renee) Campbell of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Clifford Campbell of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Jenaeve, Taylor, Shane, Alexandria and Adrianna; and his brother-in-law, Mac McNoldy of Mishawaka. His sister, Jill McNoldy, preceded him in death January 1, 2005. Larry graduated from Adams High School in 1965. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran, having served two years in Germany. He was a member of PT Cruisers of Michiana. Larry loved to travel. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, February 26, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM Friday until time of services in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Larry Campbell may be made to River Bend Cancer Services, 919 E.
