Timothy Ray Calvert

Timothy Ray Calvert, 38, of East Ewing, South Bend, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Tim was born on June 17, 1965, in South Bend, as the son of Charles Ray and June E. (Lane) Calvert. Tim was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Lynn Calvert in 1963; and by his father Charles on May 2, 1988.

On July 31, 1993, in Mishawaka, Ind., he married the former Rhonda Batson, who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Calvert, and her fiance, Anthony Vega of South Bend; Jennifer's mother, Teena Calvert; his mother, June Calvert Penrod of South Bend; and by his sister, Kimberly (Jeff) Roberts of Osceola, Ind. Tim worked as a truck driver for Central Auto in South Bend. He was also an independent repo man. Tim was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Tim had talked on the CB Radio for many years, and was known as "Big Red." He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Captain Nicholas Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
