Celeste Cabrini

Mar. 5, 1892 – Apr. 7, 1960

Mishawaka – Celeste Cabrini, 68, of 201 W. 12th St., died at 3:43 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of three months.

 

Mr. Cabrini retired from the Ball-Band plant in 1957after 15 years employment there.

He was born in Alseno, Italy March 5, 1892 and had lived in Mishawaka for 36 years coming here from Piscenca, Italy.

 

On Dec. 15, 1921 he married Alice Lombardelli in Carpeneto, Italy.

 

Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. William Lyvers of South Bend, and Mrs. Raphael Anderson of Mishawaka and six grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Artenio Cabrini of San Francisco, Calif. and one sister in Italy.

 

Mr. Cabrini was a member of St. Bavo’s Catholic Church and the DeAmici Club.

 

Friends may call today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Celeste Cabrini, 68, of 201 W. 12th St., who died Thursday, will be take place at 9 a.m. Saturday in the St. Bavo’s Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Otto J. Keller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the church.

 

Pallbearers will be Victor Vernasco, Aurelio Cherie, Ludevice Villa, Joseph Siri, Joseph Vernasco and Louis Elmo. Friends may call in the Bubb Chapel until the hour of burial.
