Anna Cabrini

Sept. 18, 1860 – Dec. 28, 1941

Mishawaka - Mrs. Anna Cabrini, aged 81, of 201 West 12th Street,  died at 6 p.m. Sunday in her home. Mrs Cabrini was born Sept. 18, 1860 in Italy and came here from that country 20 years ago,

 

She was married 61 years ago in Italy to Carlo Cabrini. He died in 1905. Before she was married her name was Anna Davighi.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Cerri of this city; and Mrs. Mary Branda, of Italy; two sons Celeste Cabrini and Arthur Cabrini of this city; one brother, John Davighi of Italy, and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son Eugene, was killed in the first world war while serving with the American expeditionary forces.

 

The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Cerri, 218 East Seventh Street, this afternoon.

 

Friends may call there until the funeral services, which will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday In St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Rev. George Lahr, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
