MISHAWAKA - Elfriede H. Byrne, 83, of Austin, TX, passed away Tuesday, in Austin Texas. Survivors include her son, Stephen P. (Peggy) Byrne of Austin TX; daughters, Patty Ellen (Thomas) Riland of Austin, Ingrid (Richard)Wells of South Bend; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Ilse (Kurt) Spingler and Crystal (Willie) Epple of Germany; and brothers, Heinz (Laura) Woelk and Erwing (Helena) Woelk of Germany. Cremation to be handled by Cook Walden/ Forest Oaks of Austin.
