Alfred Buysse

August 13, 1889 – March 1, 1975

 

Alfred Buysse, 85, formerly of 2418 W. Ford, died at 7am today in the Carlyle Nursing Home after an extended illness.  He was a retired farmer.

 

Born August 13, 1889, in Westdorpe, Holland, he had lived in this area for sixty-five years since coming from Holland.  On August 21, 1920, in South Bend, he married Alice Mesaros, who died May 20, 1945.

 

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Walters of South Bend; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Martha vanWynsberghe, Mrs. Fed Barber, and Mrs. Bertha vanHecke, all of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Madeline Davidson of South Bend.
