OSCEOLA - Everett E. Buss, 79, of Osceola died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:10 A.M. in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Born October 28, 1930 in Nappanee, Indiana to the late Roscoe & Bertha (DeHaven) Buss. Everett married Margaret R. Huffman on March 25, 1951 in Bourbon, Indiana; she survives in Osceola along with daughters, Teresa (Robert) Durrell of Osceola, Jeannie Anstedt of Waukesch, WI. and Peggy (Steve) Burns of Austin, TX. His brother, Robert (Julia) Buss of Mishawaka; 11 - Grandchildren and 3 - Great-Grandchildren also survive. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Filson. Everett was formerly employed at Wheelabrator in South Bend. He was also employed for 10 years as a currier for Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Everett enjoyed bowling, riding his motorcycle, mowing grass and working his bush hog. Services for Everett will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola with Rev. Mark Beason from the Granger Community Church presiding. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery in Nappanee. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Friday April 2nd and 1 hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to services on Saturday at the Funeral Home in Osceola. Memorial Contributions may be given to the family of Everett Buss and online condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected]. The Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
