SOUTH BEND - Margaret Burmeister, 69, of 801 E. Oakside Street, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday In St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born Nov. 28, 1914 in Saginaw, Mich. She had lived here since 1949, coming from Saginaw.

On June 5, 1937, in Saginaw, she married Robert J. Burmeister, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carol Wasoski of South Bend; a  son Thomas J. of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Bossman and Frederick Bossman, both of Saginaw, and Lawrence Bossman of Milwaukee, Wis.; and her mother Margaret Bossman of South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 9 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel, where a parish rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Monday. She was a member of St. Matthew Cathredral, the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Matthew, and the First Friday Club. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Cathedral.
