SOUTH BEND - Audrey C. Burke, 95, died March 20 in Healthwin Nursing Facility. She was born to Robert and Leo Vayne Smith in Peru, IN, on November 10,1 912.

She was married to Leonard N. Burke who preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Galen Burke and Helen Szalay; a brother, Sherman Weaver; and a grandson, Steven Allen Eaton. She is survived by her five children, Norman L. (Marilyn) Burke of Mishawaka, Shirley M. (Charles) Eaton of Mishawaka, Larry N. (Sue) Burke of Alabama, Marilou J. (James) Halterman of Florida, and Neil A. Burke of Valparaiso; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She worked for Roth Plating Corp, and retired from Ponderosa Steak House. She was a member of the St. Joseph Medical Center. Auxiliary.

Per her request, she was cremated with no viewing or visitation. Contributions may be made to Center for Hospice and Palliative Care Inc.
