SOUTH BEND - Diane Bukowski, 49, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on July 29th in Shand Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. Diane was born on September 28, 1960, in South Bend, and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1979. She had lived in Florida for the past 20 years. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Joan and Don Voorhies of South Bend; a sister, LuAnn (William) Oppenheim of South Bend; a brother, Jack Bukowski of LaPorte; nieces, Cara Barnes and Kelly Hawkins of South Bend; and nephews, Dan Oppenheim of South Bend and Jared Bukowski of LaPorte. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Bukowski. Diane dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed by them and her many friends in Florida. Private services will be held at a later date.
