LAKEVILLE IN - Georgiana L. Buehrer, 93, residing at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, Ind., formerly of S.R. 4, Lakeville, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, in the nursing home. Mrs. Buehrer was born on Oct. 1, 1909, in Lakeville, to the late Charles and Ernestine (Schrader) Lineback. She had been a lifelong area resident.

On Oct. 23, 1937, in Rochester, Ind., she married Floyd Buehrer, who passed away on Oct. 5, 1955. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Carl Lineback.

Mrs. Buehrer worked with the former Culp Insurance and Real Estate in Lakeville. She was also employed by the South Bend Community School Corporation as a registrar at Jackson High School. She was a longtime member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church where she served on many committees and boards. She was a member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Buehrer was a graduate of the South Bend College of Commerce, was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lakeville, and was the direct descendant of the first farm family in St. Joseph County.

Mrs. Buehrer is survived by two daughters, Patricia (David) Lenker of Plymouth and Georgia (David) Heckaman of Spring Lake, Mich.; one son, Charles Floyd Buehrer of Tustin, Mich.; and by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 5, in the Lakeville United Methodist Church. Rev. Martha Lyon, pastor of the church, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, Ind. Friends may visit with the family after 1:30 p.m. today in the church. The Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is in charge of funeral arrangements. Contributions in memory of Georgiana L.
