LORETTA J. BUDZINSKI

June 6, 1928 – March 9, 1996

 

SOUTH BEND – Services for Loretta J. Budzinski, 67, of O’Brien Street, who died at 5:19am Saturday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 10am Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 8pm Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a combined rosary will be said at 7pm by the parish, Rosary & Altar Society and Harvest House.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

 

Mrs. Budzinski was born June 6, 1928, in South Bend.  On September 3, 1949, in South Bend, as Loretta Sabo, she married Leo S. Budzinski.  He died December 5, 1993.  She is survived by a daughter, Martha L. Greenwald of Indianapolis; two sons, William J. of Saginaw MI, and James J. of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; and her mother, Martha Sabo of South Bend.  A son, Lawrence N. died March 6, 1994.  She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and Harvest House, both of the church, Daughters of Isabella, and Polish Alliance Group 405.
