MISHAWAKA - Joseph A. Buczynski, 37, of River Edge Court, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 12:25 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the Bridgewood Health Care Center, Elkhart, Ind. Mr. Buczynski was born March 19, 1959, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a self-employed painter. He graduated in 1977 from Mishawaka High School.

Mr. Buczynski is survived by his parents, Theodore A. and Virginia M. Buczynski of Mishawaka; three sisters, Vicky Chavez of Huntington Beach, Calif., Kathy Moore Stenzel of Roselle, Ill., and Carolyn Moore Huebsch of New Berlin, Wis.; and by three nephews.

There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2410 N. Grape Road, Suite 5A, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or to the Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County, 711 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
