Obituary of Fred A. Buck  

Fred A. Buck, 73, 214 E. Gilmer St., Center Township, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in his home. He had been ill four weeks. Born in South Bend, June 10, 1880, he was a lifetime resident here. He was a retired employee of the Bendix Products Division of Bendix Aviation Corp. In 1900 in Plymouth, Ind., he was married to Miss Grace M. Lovell, who survives. He also leaves two sons, Ford E., Walkerton, and Russell J., South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Marian Castle, Norwalk, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Smith, Chicago, and Mrs. Laura Dion, South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Roscoe F. Wilson, pastor of the People's Church, will officiate. Burial is to be in Southlawn Cemetery.
