John Bubb, age 78, father of Fred H.
Bubb, died in his home, 115 North Race Street, Sunday following
an illness of five days. He was born in Germany June 16, 1853,
and had lived in this city foir three months, coming here from
Hudson, N.Y.
He was married to Miss Catherine Miller,
deceased, in Patterson, N.J. in 1878. In addition to his son,
Fred, the following children survive; Mrs. Mary Fleuret of
Patterson, N.J.; Mrs. Hattie Eliff, Mrs. Josephine Cannon
and Miss Clara Bubb, Hudson, N.Y; Gustaf E. Bubb, Yonkers, N.Y.;
John J. Bubb, Albany, N. Y.; and William Bubb, Hudson. A brother,
Conrad Bubb, resides in Patterson.
The body will be shipped to Hudson today for
funeral and burial there.
