SOUTH BEND - Henry J. Brzezniak, 95, of 515 E. Monroe St.,
died at 9:37 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Terrace, Elkhart. Mr. Brzezniak
was the owner of the former Henry's Market. He was born Dec. 27, 1899, in Manistee, Mich., and lived in South Bend most of
his life. On Feb. 2, 1932, in South Bend, he married Elizabeth Opaczewski. She survives
with a daughter, Joan Weber of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and a
member of Holy Name Society and American Legion Pulaski Post 357.
Memorial services
were 10 a.m. today in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Burial
will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. There was no visitation. St. Joseph Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.
