Sister M. Mariella CSC, 74, died at
St. Mary’s Convent a few hours after she suffered a a stroke
at noon Monday. She was stationed at St. Mary’s Convent in
Michigan City, and was visiting her sister, Sister M. Richarda
CSC here. During her community life she was stationed in
South Bend, Crawfordsville and Michigan City; Peoria, Danville,
Harvard, Ciaro and Chicage, Ill., Idaho, Californis and Texas,
She was born Mary Hilda Brunsman in Chicago in 1887. She entered
the Holy Cross Order in 1909, receiving the habit the same year,
and made her profession of vows in 1914.
A requiem high mass will be offered at 7 a.m
Wednesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in
Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call at the
convent.
