Cathy F. Birocci

SOUTH BEND - Cathy F. Birocci, 66, of Druid Lane, died about 7 a.m. today in her home after an illness. Mrs. Birocci was employed by Bendix Corp. until 1963 and the South Bend Dental Clinic Inc. until 1973. She was co-owner of Tinder Box at both Scottsdale Mall and University Park mall, Mishawaka. She was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Chicago. On Nov. 10, 1961, in South Bend, as Cathy F. Brannan, she married Richard D. Birocci. He survives with a daughter, Katherine Peli of Milwaukee; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Preleba of South Bend and Della Kingma of Munster, Ind. She was a member of South Bend Ladies Golf League.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
