SOUTH BEND - Casmer Binkowski, 66,
of S. Carlisle Street, died at 8:52 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's
Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Binkowski retired from the
University of Notre Dame. He was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Poland
and lived in South Bend for 22 years, coming from Poland. He is
survived by a son, John of Poland; two sisters, Mary Kendziora
and Lottie Binkowski, both of South Bend; and a brother, Joseph
of Poland. He was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St.
Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the
funeral home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
