MISHAWAKA - Joseph L. Biesbrouck, 86, of 10th Street, died at 4:55 a.m. today in St. Joseph Community Hospital. Mr. Biesbrouck retired in 1971 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. after 46 years of service. He was born Dec. 22, 1908, in Mishawaka. On Oct. 22, 1931, in Mishawaka, he married Anna Marie Selis. She died May 10, 1976. He is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Cummins of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mayme Verslype and Dorothy Mikulyuk, both of Mishawaka. He was a member of B.K. Club, DeAmicis Club, KTK Bowling League and Catholic Order of Foresters, was an usher for 60 years at St. Bavo's Catholic Church, and was an honorary member of Mishawaka Firefighters Association.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
