Shannon D. Bice, 20, of West Marion Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, as the result of a train accident. Shannon was born on Oct. 4, 1978, in South Bend, Ind. He was employed at McDonald's in South Bend.

He is survived by his mother, Viola Bice of South Bend; his father, Roger Bice of Mishawaka; two brothers, Greg Davis of Dallas, Texas, and Shane Cabanaw of South Bend; and by two sisters, Debbie Evans of Rockwell, Texas, and Keyna Cabanaw of Mishawaka. Shannon loved his family, the Bulls, and public transportation. He spent time every day with his mother, making sure she had the little things she needed. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends may call one hour before services today. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in Fairview Cemetery.
