SOUTH BEND - Susan L. "Suzy" Beutel, 45,
residing in South Bend, passed away peacefully at 4:04 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in her brother's home surrounded by her
loving and caring family. She was born Nov. 5, 1962, in South
Bend, to Herman and Rosemary (Brucker) Beutel, and had
remained a lifelong resident of South Bend. Her mother Rosemary
Beutel preceded her in death in 2002. Suzy and her family are
members of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was also active with
Corvilla and Logan Center. She is survived by her father and
stepmother, Herman E. and Patricia Beutel of South Bend; two
sisters, Janice (John) Stitsworth of Osceola and Sharon
(Garry) Fisher of Lake Havasu, AZ; two brothers, Kent
(Janice) Beutel of Granger and Craig (Pauline) Beutel of South
Bend; her aunt, Pat (Charles) Kelley of Mishawaka; and
several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 1, in St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson
Road, South Bend. Rev. John Delaney, pastor, will officiate.
Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in
the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan
Street, South Bend. Contributions in memory of Suzy Beutel may be
