Mrs. William H. Berkheiser.

 

     Mrs. Pauline C. Berkheiser, aged 68, of 521 N. Cushing street, died of a heart attack at 3 p. m. Tuesday in her residence.  Born in Bremen, Ind., Sept. 12, 1877, she came here 18 years ago from Bremen.  On Oct. 23, 1808, in Bremen, she was married to William H. Berkheiser, who survives.  Other survivors are two sons, Karl O. and Robert W., both of South Bend;  two grandchildren,  and a sister, Mrs. A. Tirmenstein, of Evansville, Ind.  Friends may call after 7 p. m. today in the residence and until noon on Friday when the body will be taken to St. Paul's Lutheran church to lie from 1 p. m.until the hour of funeral services there at 2 p. m.  Rev. E. W. Broders, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland cemetery.  She was a member of the Women's Sewing circle of the St. Paul's church.
