Mrs. Samuel H. Berkey, aged 75, of 1305 South Main Street, died Saturday in Hollywood, Calif., where she was visiting with her daughters, Mrs. Vera Bruggner, wife of County Clerk Frank Bruggner, and Mrs. Hazel Brown, Newton, Mass.  Her husband, an employee of Ellsworth’s store, left South Bend for California by automobile May 30.  The body will arrive here Tuesday.  Funeral arrangements have not been made.

The body of Mrs. Samuel H. Berkey, 1305 South Main street, who died Saturday in Hollywood, Calif., will arrive here at 11 a.m. Tuesday and will lie in the Forest G. Hay funeral home until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Frank E. Davison, pastor of First Christian church, will direct the services.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial part.  Mr. Berkey and two daughters, Mrs. Vera Bruggner, of this city, and Mrs. Hazel Brown, of Newton, Mass., who had accompanied Mrs. Berkey to California, are returning with the body.
