DIED.
     Chas. Berger, who resided south of town, died on Saturday last of an aggravated case of jaundice from which he had been suffering for a long time.  His age was about 43 years.  He was an estimable citizen and his loss is deeply regretted by all who knew him.  His funeral took place on Monday, the services being held in the German Evangelical church, this city.
