4, 1956 - May 3, 2010WALKERTON - Thomas J. Bell Jr., 54, of Walkerton, IN, passed away at 10:23 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN. He was born on January 4, 1956, to Thomas J. Sr. and Mary A. (McReynolds) Bell in Logansport, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. His mother preceded him in death in 1990. Thomas was a graduate of St. Joseph's High in South Bend and received a certificate in Computer Science from Ivy Tech. Thomas is survived by his father, Thomas J. Bell Sr. of South Bend, IN; a daughter, Cori (Tim) Valenti of Kendallville, IN; three grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Wesley and Lincoln Valenti, all of Kendallville, IN; two sisters, Frances "Tancy" (Ron) Pierce of Niles, MI, and Tina (David) Donica of South Bend, IN; and one brother, Tyrus (Shelley) Bell of South Bend, IN. Also left to cherish his memory are nieces, Angie Snyder, Aubrei Donica, Rachel Jacobs and Amanda Bell; nephews, Ty Bell, T.J. Bell, Trevor Masterman, Joshua Jacobs, Justin Donica and Mitchell Donica; uncles, Robert Bell, Francis Bell, Mike Bell and Sterling McReynolds; and aunts, Marling McReynolds, Kaye Gray and Karen Chrisman. Tom's family would like to express their love, gratitude and deepest appreciation to their brother's extended family at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton, IN. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service.
