KAREN J. BELAKOVICH

February 12, 1959 – November 5, 2002

 

Karen J. Belakovich, 43, residing to Dowagiac, MI, formerly of South Bend IN, died early Tuesday morning, November 5^th, in her home.

 

She was born February 12, 1959, in South Bend, as the daughter of Richard J. and Rosemary (Brothers) Belakovich.  She attended James Whitcomb Riley High, and was currently serving as a waitress at Hacienda Restaurant in Benton Harbor MI.  She was preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Belakovich on May 9, 1997.

 

Karen is survived by her mother, Rosemary Belakovich of South Bend; a daughter, Hali Jones at home, and two sons, Jeremy Belakovich of Niles MI and Erik Jones at home; a granddaughter Breeann Belakovich; three sisters Mary (Danny) Mitschelen of South Bend, Jeanne Switalski of Granger IN, and Joyce (James) Stempak of Richmond Heights OH; and by a brother Chris (Tracy) Belakovich of Mishawaka IN.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am, Friday, November 8^th in St Jude’s Catholic Church.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 8pm today in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend.
