Anne M. Beery
SOUTH BEND - Anne M. Beery, 87, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, in her home with family by her side. Anne was born on December 10, 1919, in Steelton, PA, to the late Michael and Mary (Egersitz) Pilsitz.
On July 21, 1944, she married her loving husband of 62 years, Rhoderick J. Beery in Tucson, ZA, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2005. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Kay and Julia; and a brother, Michael. She is survived by her children, Lynn A. Morris of South Bend, Rhoderick J. Berry III of St. Louis, MO, and Jacquelyn (Jeffrey) Ahrns of Fairport, NY; seven grandchildren, Harry, Steven, Matthew, Rhoderick, Sara, Beth Ann, and Jenille; seven great-grandchildren, "Jack", Hudson, Amanda, Alanna, Adam, Kory and Kody; three sisters, Mary Ann Balmer of South Bend, Helen Finlay of Niles and Rosie Smith of Woodbury, NJ.
Friends and family may call from 9 to 10 a.m. in St. Matthew Cathedral, 1701 Miami St., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
