Bruce William Beehler

Bruce William Beehler, 52, of New Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away suddenly in his home at 6 a.m. Sunday, March 7. Bruce was born on Feb. 19, 1952, in Mishawaka, Ind., as the son of Loyal and Geneve (Harvey) Beehler. He was preceded in death by his father, Loyal.

 

On Sept. 23, 1972, in South Bend, he married the former Candace "Candy" Card, who preceded him in death on March 1, 1992. Then on July 4, 1993, in Rose Park, Mishawaka, he married Marlene Rentz, who survives along with his mother, Geneve of Mishawaka; a son, Steven and daughter-in-law, Misty Beehler, of Mishawaka; a grandchild, Kaylin Beehler; and a brother, Randall of Mishawaka.

 

Bruce was the manager for Treader's Tire in Plymouth for the last year. Before that he worked at Dale's Service Center for nine years. He was a member of BK Club Archers, BK Club, Calvert Rod and Gun Club and Marian High School Alumni. Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved spending time with his family and just enjoyed life to the fullest each and every day.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11, in the funeral home with Rev. Barry England and Rev. Eddie Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bruce to Riley Children Hospital, 50 South Meridian Street Suite 500, Indianapolis, IN 46204-3540; or to American Heart Association, Memorial & Tributes Program Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
